Questions before you book?
From booking your date to downloading your films, here’s how it all works.
How do we book you?
Start by sending us your date and venue through our contact form, and we’ll get back to you within 48 hours. If you’d like to book, a £500 booking fee and a short agreement secure your wedding date. Approximately six weeks before the wedding, we’ll arrange a video call to go through timings and the final details.
When is the remaining balance due?
The remaining balance is due 6 weeks before your wedding. Your £500 booking fee secures the date when you book.
Do you travel outside of Derbyshire?
Absolutely. We film weddings across the UK and abroad. Tell us where you’re planning to celebrate and we’ll talk through the details.
Are travel and accommodation included?
Travel is included for weddings across the East Midlands. For weddings elsewhere in the UK or abroad, we’ll provide a quote based on your location and any accommodation required. Everything will be clearly included in your quote, with no unexpected travel costs later.
What is included in the Film package?
You’ll receive a Highlight Film, your ceremony and speeches in full, The RAW Collection (every usable clip from your wedding, in order), and a separate First Dance Film. If you choose to have a first look, you’ll receive a separate film of that too. Both Aaron and Becky film your wedding, using multiple cameras and clear, professional audio. Film is £2,000.
What does Film + Essential Photos include?
Everything in the Film package, plus a smaller collection of photographs: family and group photographs from an agreed short list, relaxed portraits of the two of you, your confetti walk, and a small selection of candid photographs around these moments. You’ll receive an edited digital gallery to download, print and share. It isn’t full-day photography and isn’t a replacement for a photographer. Film + Essential Photos is £2,500.
What is the Highlight Film?
Your Highlight Film brings together the strongest moments of the day in a polished, cinematic edit. Voices, reactions, details and atmosphere are shaped into a film you can watch, share and return to for years.
What is The RAW Collection?
The RAW Collection: every usable clip from your wedding, in order. It includes the extra moments that might not appear in your shorter films, such as guests arriving, conversations and little reactions. Unlike the Highlight Film, it isn’t shaped into a polished edit. We remove unusable clips, test shots and duplicates, then put the remaining moments in the order they happened.
Will we receive every camera file?
You’ll receive all the usable footage through The RAW Collection, rather than every original camera file. Accidental recordings, duplicates, missed-focus clips and other unusable footage are removed.
Are still images from the film the same as the photographs?
No. We may include a complimentary selection of still images taken from the 6K film footage, but these are not guaranteed. They are separate from the planned photographs included in Film + Essential Photos.
When will you arrive?
We normally arrive about two hours before the ceremony, giving us time to capture the morning preparations and details.
Can you film both of us getting ready?
Yes, where timings and locations allow. Both Aaron and Becky film every wedding, so we can usually cover both sides of the morning. If you’re getting ready in different places, we’ll plan the timings with you beforehand. If travel between locations would affect coverage, we’ll be honest about it and help you work out the best approach.
When will you leave?
We usually stay until about 30 minutes after the first dance, capturing the start of the evening celebrations and the atmosphere of the party.
Do you use a drone?
Yes, when the weather, location and permissions allow. We’ll try to capture aerial views of your venue and surroundings. If we can’t fly, we’ll focus on extra ground coverage instead. Drone footage can never be guaranteed, as it depends on weather, venue rules and airspace.
Do we need to provide a meal?
A meal isn’t required, but it’s much appreciated. If no meal is provided, we may need to step out briefly to get food.
Do you back up our footage?
Yes. We back up your footage to multiple hard drives and the cloud immediately after your wedding.
Can we choose the music?
We use music from our licensed library rather than commercial tracks. We choose music to suit the atmosphere and emotion of your wedding.
When will we receive our films?
Usually within 8 to 12 weeks, depending on the season and our editing queue.
How will we receive our films?
We deliver your films through an online platform called Gallerio.
Can we download and make our own copies?
Yes. Your films are delivered as MP4 files, so you can download them, make your own backups and share them with your favourite people.
